The Reading (2023)

"The Reading" is the second piece of a larger collection of pieces that explore the different parts of the Anglican Church service called "The Eucharist Collection." It is the shortest, reflecting it's real eucharistic counterpart, and it plays with the idea of silencing personal voice, by muffling the speaking voice under vocoding and filtering. The text, though difficult to hear, deals with ideas of uncertainty between the past and future, and human reactions to certain revelations and methods of coping.
